SISTAR makes comeback on Inkigayo with "Loving U"

After releasing the teasers and MV for their newest hit single "Loving U," SISTAR made a comeback on Inkigayo with "Loving U."  Ready for the summer, SISTAR performed on a water-fountain-like stage with a red picnic-print shirt.  With amazing vocals and choreography, the performance is ready for the summer.

SISTAR releases "Loving U" MV

After releasing teasers for the past few days, SISTAR has finally released the MV for their newest single "Loving U."  Set on the island Oahu in Hawaii, the MV seems like SISTAR's own vacation video along with some hot new choreography in marine outfits.  SISTAR is shown exploring the island and hitting some memorable landmarks in a summer fun MV.

Perfect for the summer, SISTAR's "Loving U" has the visual and musical aspects of a perfect day on the beach.

SISTAR releases album cover for "Loving U"

After raising hype through teaser photos of each member and a very energetic MV teaser, SISTAR has released the album cover for their upcoming album Loving U.  The album cover features SISTAR with sunglasses and summer dresses, a clear connection to the MV setting in Hawaii.  The first teaser photos gave no indication of the song's theme, but all teasers afterward have.

Set to be released tomorrow KST, Loving U has already been praised by fans even though only teasers have been released.

June 28th is the official date of release for SISTAR's Loving U, so keep updated!

SISTAR's Bora is NOT Megan Fox

There has a been a circulating story that talks about Bora being "Korea's Megan Fox," but I have to disagree with that statement.  Bora is Korea's Bora.  That's like saying Amber is Korea's Justin Bieber (NO).  I really don't think that we should be comparing Korean artists to American artists or vice versa.  Every artist has their own style and is their own artist -- maybe styles are borrowed and shared, but no artist is the same.

Bora has got her own curves and own moves.  She doesn't need to be compared to anyone <3.

Bora is looking good in SISTAR's "Loving U" MV teaser, but she is in NO WAY like Megan Fox.  That is all I have to say . . . SISTAR's "Loving U" COMES OUT JUNE 28TH.

Okay. Now I'm done.

SISTAR releases MV teaser for "Loving U"

After teasing us with teaser photos all week, SISTAR finally releases a teaser for "Loving U."  The MV starts out with a strong vocal by Hyorin and backs her voice up with a beat that sounds really fit for the summer.  Just as was expected, the MV was shot all in Honolulu, Hawaii.  And it seems like it will feature all parts of Oahu -- the beach, the waves, the surf, and the sun.

Along with the teaser, Starship Entertainment released a track list for the album Loving U:

Track List
01. Loving U
02. Holiday
03 Push Push DJ Rubato Remix
04. 나혼자(Alone) Smells Remix
05. Ma Boy Smells Remix
06. 니까짓게(How dare you) Demicat Remix
07. So Cool DJ Rubato Remix

Nothing screams summer more than this MV teaser!

SISTAR returns with "Loving U" on June 28th -- so don't miss it!

SISTAR's "Loving U" has been shot in Hawaii

After teasing us with some teaser photos, Starship Entertainment has decided to confuse SISTAR fans by introducing a totally new marine concept.  What's more is that Starship Entertainment revealed that SISTAR's "Loving U" has been shot entirely in Hawaii!

Through their official Twitter account, Starship Entertainment revealed that SISTAR's "Loving U" MV will feature professional surfers and airplanes.  Combined with "breathtaking stunts of local, professional surfers" and Hawaii's beautiful natural scenery, agency representatives are sure that fans will enjoy the MV.

"Loving U" will be released June 28th, so get ready!

SISTAR looks good in their marine outfits (especially Soyu **cough), huh?

SISTAR releases "Loving U" teaser photos for Bora

After releasing the teaser photos for the other 3 members of SISTAR, Starship Entertainment has finally released the teaser photos for their member, Bora.  Following the trend of the other members, the teaser photos are light and carefree looking with many bright and softer colors.  Instead of the darker "Alone", "Loving U" looks just like what the song name suggests.

Bora is shown wearing a Victoria Secret tank top -- just like Hyorin was in her teaser photos.

"Loving U" is set to be released on June 28th.  Is it time for some teaser MV videos?

SISTAR releases "Loving U" teaser photos for Soyu

After releasing the teaser photos for Dasom and Hyorin, Starship Entertainment has just released Soyu's teaser photos.  Currently all the teaser photos have suggested a lighter and more carefree attitude -- which contrasts with SISTAR's previous concept for "Alone."

SISTAR plans to release "Loving U" on June 28th.  Bora's teaser photo needs to be released.  It is unknown whether or not a teaser MV will be released as well.

Soyu = favorite member. cough**

SISTAR releases teaser photos for "Loving U"

SISTAR just released Dasom's teaser photo for "Loving U" -- Hyorin's teaser photos were released yesterday.  The teaser photos for both members, however, emphasize a lighter and more playful side of SISTAR.  The new concept contrasts from SISTAR's "Alone" MV, which had the group in a darker and more serious tone.  The contrast just shows how versatile this group can be.

The release date for SISTAR's comeback is set as June 28th, plenty of time to release more teaser photos and a teaser MV/video perhaps?

Sistar's "How Dare You" MV and Performance

SISTAR has to be one of hottest rookie groups (at least in my mind), having so much vocal talent and perseverance no matter what they're doing.  Their new song "How Dare You" has already been released with an MV and a performance.  Their entertainment company had stated from the start that SISTAR would be known for their unique vocal talents and their excellent dancing skills; most fans would have to agree that they weren't lying.  SISTAR has been said to have been a copy-cat group of 2NE1, but with their variety of songs, they're becoming more and more unique in their upbeat and optimistic style.  SISTAR is definitely sticking around for a while :D.

K-Pop November Comebacks

Who is coming back this November in K-pop?  The two big names to look out for are Big Bang and Orange Caramel.  Big Bang has been with out an entire album release for two years now, but their comeback should be in a few weeks according to G-Dragon, who told fans that the album was almost finished last month.  The group has thanked their fans for waiting for them.

August 29th Inkigayo

Annyeong haseyo! This week's Inkigayo featured FT Island's comeback song "Love Love Love" and Sistar's comeback song "Shady Girl."  Sistar's Bora fractured her thumb recently and had a pretty silver splint during the Inkigayo performance. It was very unfortunate because Sistar was just beginning to promote "Shady Girl."  Read more to see a heck of a lot of pictures :D.

Sistar's "Shady Girl" On Music Core

Sistar returned with "Shady Girl" on Music Core yesterday and did a great job.  The choreography was great, and the vocals were impressive.  The singing and dancing had a different effect than "Push Push," but it still gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside :3.  The lighting was really bright and happy; it felt like I was on a cloud... (LOL).  But on a serious note, Sistar is one of the new Kpop groups I hope will stay for a long time.

SISTAR Releases "Shady Girl"

Sistar has just released their second single song "Shady Girl."  The style of the song is
less bubbly than "Push Push," but still has an upbeat feeling.  The part of the chorus where Sistar sings "I need you boy" reminds me of "Push Push" and that's not a problem with me because I'm still listening to "Push Push" xD.  Sistar is just one of the numerous K-pop girl groups that debuted this year.  Will they survive the competition?  I hope there's enough room for all the groups because I'm sure each girl group has a lot of talent.
